Bola.net - Manchester City menyerah kalah dari Chelsea dalam duel pekan ke-35 Premier League 2020/21. Bermain di Etihad Stadium, Sabtu (8/5/2021), City justru takluk dengan skor 1-2.

Man City sempat unggul terlebih dahulu melalui Raheem Sterling di ujung babak pertama (44'), tapi Chelsea bisa membalikkan kedudukan di babak kedua lewat aksi Hakim Ziyech (63') dan Marcos Alonso (90+2')

Kekalahan ini menunda pesta juara Man City sedikit lebih lama lagi. Masih ada tiga pertandingan sisa, hanya masalah waktu sampai Man City mengangkat trofi Premier League.

Meski begitu, kekalahan ini tetap membuat fans kesal. Pep menurunkan skuad pelapis pada laga ini, seolah-olah meremehkan Chelsea yang bakal jadi lawan mereka di final Liga Champions nanti.

Pep lineup wasn’t that bad. Players made bad choices during the game. Aguero’s panenka, Rodri’s rodeo which cost us Chelsea’s goal. After that Mendy and Cancelo were awful. But I hope this lose made pep figure out how to beat them at the final
