Kontroversi Gol Kylian Mbappe ke Gawang Spanyol, Kok Gak Offside?

Situasi Mbappe ini dijelaskan oleh mantan wasit Luca Marelli dan Tiziano Pieri. Mengutip Football Italia, Mbappe memang tidak terjebak offside sesuai peraturan yang berlaku.

Saat itu, jebakan offside Spanyol dirusak oleh bek Spanyol sendiri, Eric Garcia. Dia menyentuh tipis bola umpan Theo Hernandes sebelum sampai diterima Mbappe.

Sentuhan Garcia disengaja, artinya dia me-reset permainan dan berarti Mbappe tidak offside. Memang keputusan ini sulit, media Spanyol protes keras, tapi sesuai rules of the game FIFA, Garcia sengaja menyentuh bola, berarti offside dihapus.

Kedua wasit senior tersebut juga mengakui aturan tersebut ada, meski mungkin tidak bisa diterima.

Mbappé was offside when the pass was made. The ball touched Garcia but Mbappé is offside cuz acc. to rules, if it's a deflection off a defender or an attempted save, it's still offside. How different is it from Mbappè’s tonight? Mbappè had an unfair advantage although Garcia attempted to intercept the pass.
